Interesting research from The Cigna Group on anxiety in the workforce. āAccording to Evernorth claims data, 14% of the insured population has been diagnosed with anxiety by a health care professional.ā
Anxiety prevalence among US police officers ranges from 26% to over 36%, according to various studies. In one 2020 study, 29% of the sample was in the moderate to very severe range of anxiety, which is approximately two (2) times greater than the prevalence seen in the general population.
Louisville-based Swell Health was organized in 2022. Swell is currently running pilots with police departments in Kentucky.
