Neat!

Clareo Biosciences in GenomeWeb!
Being in GenomeWeb is baller. The article is paywalled, but it’s good.
"‘There is an incredible amount of variation at the germline loci of B cell receptors and T cell receptors,’ said Melissa Smith, Clareo's cofounder and CEO, who is also an assistant professor of biochemistry and molecular genetics at UofL. ‘For about 10 years, we have been working on developing these novel single-molecule-based methods for resolving immune repertoire receptor loci at the DNA level and RNA level.’"
Again, in case you missed it, Clareo is based in Louisville.

Will Cell & Gene Therapies Break Insurance?
Hmmm.
Remember when we had Emily Martin, PhD on the podcast? “So the first decade of my career in biopharma was really in small molecules and proteins and antibodies. And then the second decade, starting at Shire, was in cell and gene therapy.”
RPM.
Remote Patient Monitoring is cool. Check out the below publication. Of note, co-author Lynn Simon is a University of Louisville School of Medicine and Bellarmine University alum. She was Chief Medical Officer at Jewish Hospital & St. Mary's HealthCare for nine years, too.
Related, remember this from 2022?
